Aside from being a great spot for private dinners, the acclaimed restaurant Vicia has become a popular choice for an intimate wedding venue. Take Root Hospitality offers an experienced event planner to help plan every detail to ensure a curated experience for couples and their guests.

“Events at Vicia exemplify our dedication to excellence with unparalleled cuisine, service, and execution,” says Tara Gallina, Co-owner Take Root Hospitality. “Our mission is to utilize local, seasonal food and to present you with flavors and preparations you’ll not find elsewhere. Our James Beard Nominated team will curate a seasonally focused, vegetable-forward menu sure to leave lasting impressions. Our team is made up of passionate professionals and the culinarily curious and we create a wedding dinner experience that is elegant, easy, and effortless for the food-loving bride and groom.”

Examples of special touches you can add to your celebration include custom bespoke cocktails made with seasonal ingredients from the Vicia garden and custom cakes from the Winslow’s Table bakery. The Take Root Hospitality team also offers options for takeaway gifts, such as items from The Cellar Shop at Winslow’s Table, or individually wrapped baked treats.

The maximum capacity for weddings is 80, but no more than 50 is recommended for couples who wish to include a dance floor or DJ. Couples can have their ceremony at Vicia, in which case 40 people is the recommended capacity. For ceremonies, they use their enclosed outdoor patio and the main dining room for the reception.
