On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Minds in Bloom blossomed for Miriam School and Learning Center. Celebrating a record-breaking evening at its third annual Minds in Bloom Auction & Dinner, the school raised more than $300,000. The money will go to support its mission of providing specialized education for students with learning differences. Held at the Clayton Plaza Hotel, the event drew its largest attendance to date, with more than $181,000 designated for the Fund the Future Scholarship Fund, helping make a Miriam education accessible to more families.

The inspiring evening featured heartfelt remarks from scholarship recipient Eddie and Miriam parent Erin Chien, whose stories underscored the life-changing impact of the school's individualized approach to education. Guests also applauded outstanding community leaders, with Steve and Karla Rosenblum receiving the Fannie Landau Award for Volunteerism, the Steele Family honored with the Legacy of Giving Award, and Miriam alumnus and longtime benefactor George Diederich presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The record-setting fundraiser reaffirmed the St. Louis community's commitment to ensuring that Miriam students continue to thrive academically and personally for generations to come.
