We sat down to chat with Reese, Michelle and Andrea owners of Salon 210 to get a few tips and tricks for Holiday hair this season. Here's the skinny on what makes them who they are!

What are your favorite holiday hair trends?

All the big glamorous waves are back!!! No more beach waves – it’s all about the shine and the smooth S waves! Old Hollywood glam with a twist is what we’re calling it. Also, guess what we never thought would be back? The side part! And, not just any old normal side part but an exaggerated, deep side part for updos, half up, and full down styles!

What inspired you to open Salon 210?

We wanted to create a safe place to style magical hair for everyone! A place where our guests can be their true selves and be accepted. A place where anything is possible, starting with hair dreams to life dreams! We are disrupting the beauty industry -- kicking out the old way of doing things -- for the benefit of our customers. 

What makes Salon 210 unique?

We are a L’Oréal Professional training salon. What does that mean? We created Salon 210 on a foundation of education. We invest so much to make sure we are creating the best possible experience for our guests and that our stylists truly know and have mastered the latest techniques in the industry. For our team, the work doesn’t begin and end behind the chair. It includes countless hours and we travel all over the world for education. It results in our guests receiving the most luxurious and pampering service while in Salon 210. You will always have two stylists with you to make sure all of your beauty needs are met while receiving a head massage along with the loveliest care in St. Louis.  

What are your specialties? 

We specialize in dream hair -- this means the latest extension and color techniques in the world! This means hand tied extensions including invisible bead extensions, the Luna Method, KC Welsh hand tied, and the list goes on. We consult with each client to give them the right extension method that fits their lifestyle and hair needs. Our priority is the integrity of the hair and we don’t budge from that. Our high-end color techniques are The Glow and Bronzed. These two are our signature looks for this year’s IT GIRL. They are a mix of teasy lights and balayage to give your hair the perfect pop of dimension everyone wants.

What brands do you carry and why did you select them?

L’Oréal Professional -- the best of the best in our industry – is our primary supplier. They have the most high- end color line there is. The ingredients will give you the most beautiful hair color while protecting and ensuring the integrity of the hair. Besides the best hair care products, L’Oréal Professional gives us the best support any salon and stylist could hope for with an endless amount of education for our team. The rest of the lineup includes:

Kerastase. This is L’Oréal Professional’s sister line. This is a luxury French hair care line with regimens created for every single person’s hair problem and need.

Olaplex. This is one of our favorites!! We use it in almost every single client’s color to make sure there is zero damage done when pushing the limits of lightness to the hair! The integrity of the hair always comes first at Salon 210. 

We have hair extension lines including Covet and Mane, Salt and Strands, and Bellami. We even carry Revitalash growth serums for eyelashes and brows.
