St. Louis Showed Up And Showed Out For the FGI Met Gala Watch Party

FGI Saint Louis hosted THE red carpet fashion event of the year on Monday, May 5th, 2025! Over 150 guests joined us at the Ritz-Carlton Solarium for a live watch party of the Met Gala “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” red carpet. Attendees were decked out in their best “Tailored for You” looks, walked the red carpet, and enjoyed “Dapper Dandy” cocktails while mingling with fellow fashion-minded individuals.

The FGI Saint Louis red carpet was hosted by Glossy’s Jill Manoff and fashion artist and activist Ali Breitbach. The best-dressed contest was judged by St. Louis fashion greats Susan Barrett, Yoro Newson, Susan Sherman, Darryl Tyler, and Ted Wight. Allan Cantada won best-dressed male, and Toni Strong won best-dressed female. Jasmine Stocking and Patrick Wessel received honorable mentions for their tailored looks.
