Putting Compassion for Victims of EF3 Tornado Into Action; Please Help!

by Ted Wight

On Saturday, my friends Brooke Meek and Blake Anderson did more than watch the devastation from the May 16th EF3 tornado from the comfort of our homes. We went down to one of the hardest-hit areas and put our hands to work. We took action. Now, we need YOUR help also.

Brooke Meek, Blake Anderson, and Ted Wight help clean up after May 16th EF3 tornado devastates. It had a 23-mile path, 1-mile wide.

You just don’t know the devastation until you have been to the streets affected. @alirand and her crews have become Patron Saints of Enright east of Union. It is truly heartbreaking that homes that have stood for more than a century are either gone, crumbling, or may never be able to be rebuilt.

Irreparable damage was done to homes.

Yet the need for cleanup remains. It’s the first and most urgent order of business before we rebuild.

The need for cleanup is still urgent.

Go join the effort this week. Be there anytime after 10am through Friday, May 30th. Bring work gloves and a mask and they will put you to work.

@brookemeek has organized delivery of huge dumpsters that get filled up in 15 minutes. That means that we need more of them.

More dumpsters like these are needed for the cleanup effort.

To help, please Venmo @brooke-meek-1 to help sponsor a dumpster. They are $800 each.

Whether you can be there in person or not, please show your support monetarily.
