A Day to Give, A Night to Celebrate

Hope is a strong tool - one that has gotten many of us through the last year.

For the Cancer Support Community (CSC) of Greater St. Louis, having hope is not a new phenomenon. The mission of CSC, “is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community”. They offer professionally led support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and stress-reduction classes to empower and educate individuals impacted by cancer… all at no cost to the participant. To do so, CSC relies on its annual Hope After Dark fall fundraising campaign.

On October 6, Hope After Dark kicks off with A Day to Give, a crowdfunding campaign where every dollar donated will be matched! The next evening, October 7, the campaign will end with A Night to Celebrate, a VIP sponsor event at PALM Health. Y98’s Julie Tristan will emcee the night which celebrates leaders in our community who have made a difference in the lives of people impacted by cancer. The 2021 Marsha Wolff and Tina Borchert Inspiration Award will be presented to Cancer Support Community Honorees the Smith Family & Waterway Carwash.
